Coater Lift Driver

Summary: 
Operates powered industrial truck to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or rugs and related materials by performing the following duties.
Essential Functions: 
  • Completes operator check list prior to beginning of shift.
  • Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials, and transports load to designated area.
  • Scans inventory on work floor, and supplies workers with materials as needed.
  • Consolidates rugs.
  • Occasionally pulls dye runs.
  • Housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Education and/or Experience: 
Basic language skills required.  Ability to use scanners and AS400 for data entry.
Licenses/Certificates: 
Must have a valid driver's license.  Must obtain a Maples Industrial Truck Operator's permit.
Physical Demands: 
The employee is regularly required to stand; use hands, and reach with hands and arms.  The employee is frequently required to step up and down onto and off of the forklift.  The employee is occasionally required to walk; stoop, kneel, and talk or hear.  The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
