Dye Weigher- Print Line

Summary: 
Organizes and coordinates batches of dye for the Print Department by performing the following duties.
Essential Functions: 
  • Produces batches of dye for specific print orders using a computer program.
  • Connects supply hoses to wash water.
  • Washes the contents of the machine.
  • Connects supply lines to new batches and fills the printhead.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • Ability to drive industrial equipment (Tugger/Forklift).
Education and/or Experience: 
  • No experience or education required. 
  • The employee must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 
  • The employee must have the ability to read, write and comprehend simple written instructions. 
  • Basic computer skills are preferred.
Licenses/Certificates: 
  • Must have a valid drivers license to obtain Maples forklift license.  
Physical Demands: 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. 
  • The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl or lift. 
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is reguraly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and occasionally toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • Central dyeroom is air-conditioned.
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
  • Employee must wear personal protective equipment as required.
